JOBSEARCH: A TWO-DAY TRAINING PROGRAMME
This qualification aims to provide a framework for the development and assessment of the literacy skills that an adult will need to function at work and in society in general. It is designed to assess achievement in relation to the National Adult Literacy Standards for Entry and is delivered through a naturally occurring context.
AIM:
To improve trainees’ job search skills.
OUTCOMES:
At the end of the programme you should have
- Researched the local job market
- Accessed your personal strengths
- Completed a CV
- Filled in a job application form
- Written a covering letter
- Practised your interviewing skills
